J’adoube is a woody, floral, fruity scent created for Men and Women in 2022 by perfumer Nathalie Benareau.

Review

This scent is bold and exciting. Lusciously bright fruits and citrus transform into a warm, sweet, Ambery blend that intoxicates the senses every step of the way. It is safe to wear to the office, but is best suited for casual settings and adventurous moments. It lightens your mood and increases excitement. Will work well in any season. It has similarities to Jeroboam Vesper, Bond No.9 Montauk, and Christian Provenzano’s Ambre d’Or. 

Inspiration

J’adoube is a term used in Chess when a player wants to adjust a piece without making a move. With this J’adoube, a smooth transition from sweet and bright to warm and seductive reminds us that we are not fixed to one time or place. “I adjust”.

Notes

A bright blend of Red Currant, Red Pomegranate, and Mandarin excites the senses. Rose creates a subtle softness as a warm blend of Ambrostar and Benzoin come into play. Leather and Patchouli add just enough of an earthy tone to keep this scent lasting without overwhelming the lightness.
